Now in its 24^th year, ACYA celebrates a long history as a leading proponent of arts education and expressive opportunities for all ages throughout our community.  We believe that art contributes to the health and success of our children and community; and that literacy in the arts creates well-rounded individuals able to make a positive difference in the world.  From after-school art programs, to dance education, to our current focus on community art projects, we continue to build upon a rich tradition of service to the residents of Fidalgo and Guemes Islands.  Our newest project, “Schools of Fish Swimming Together,” is a series of beautiful fused-glass panels created by dozens of individuals throughout the community and destined for future installation at Fidalgo Pool.  Come see its progress at Johnny Picasso’s Coffee and Art Bar, and sign up today to participate!
